yeah. i also edc an iPhone. without a sim. and it’s hella cheaper. i paid my Verizon plan off in one chunk. unlocked my phone and transferred my number to my light phone plan. $20 a month instead of $65 rocks. you don’t need a dumb phone to do this. my wife did hers and pays $30 for a full iPhone setup.

this thing became a pocket computer for me now. i don’t eat up my transition times (in my car, walking around, anywhere without WiFi) with screen time and everywhere i go pretty much, has WiFi…so i stay able to the benefits of mobile devices.

the perfect synergy of 2026 and being slow.
